Nobody publishes prices for this treatment, which is exactly why everyone asks about it. So let me be direct.
At my studio in Newark, Morpheus8 starts at $375 a session. A typical full course is three sessions, four to six weeks apart. That puts most people between $1,000 and $1,300 for the whole thing.
Now let me explain why the quote you got somewhere else was $900, and why that number is not automatically a rip off.
Why Morpheus8 quotes vary so much
Four things move the price, and none of them are secret once you know to ask.
1. Treatment area
Full face is one price. Full face plus neck is another. Jawline only is cheaper. Abdomen or thighs, which take far longer and use more tips, cost more. When someone quotes you a number, the first question is: for what area?
2. Who is performing it
In a plastic surgery office, part of what you are paying for is the surgeon's time and the overhead of a surgical practice. In a private studio like mine, you are paying for my time, my device and my room. Same technology, different cost structure.
3. Depth and tip type
The disposable tips are a real per treatment cost, and deeper treatments use different configurations. A conservative surface pass and an aggressive deep pass are not the same treatment even though they share a brand name.
4. Package pricing
Almost everyone discounts a package of three because almost everyone needs three. If you are comparing a single session price against a package price, you are comparing two different things.

What you are actually buying
Morpheus8 is radiofrequency microneedling. Tiny insulated needles pass through the surface of the skin and deliver heat at a set depth underneath it. The needles create a controlled injury, the RF energy creates a controlled thermal effect, and your body responds by building collagen over the following weeks and months.
That is the whole mechanism. It is not a filler, it is not lifting anything mechanically, and it is not removing skin. You are hiring your own biology to do the work, which is why the result shows up slowly and why one session is never the story.
What it is genuinely good at
- Acne scarring and texture. This is where I see the most dramatic before and afters. Rolling and boxcar scars respond well.
- Enlarged pores. Real improvement, though pores never disappear entirely, no matter what anyone tells you.
- Early laxity along the jaw. Softening, tightening, a cleaner line. Not a jawline transplant.
- Crepey texture on the neck and under the eyes. Careful, conservative settings only.
- Stretch marks. Especially older white ones. See my piece on what actually works for stretch marks.
When I tell people not to do it
I turn this treatment down fairly often, and I would rather lose the booking than take money for something that will disappoint you.
If you have significant loose skin, heavy jowls or a lot of volume loss, Morpheus8 will not fix it. Skin tightening devices work on the margin. When the tissue has moved that far, the honest answer is either a surgical consultation or accepting the face you have, and there is no shame in the second one.
I also postpone it if you are actively breaking out in the treatment area, if you are on isotretinoin or recently were, if you are pregnant, or if you have an infection anywhere near the site.
The part nobody mentions: downtime
Expect to look like you have a bad sunburn for two to three days. Small grid marks from the tips are visible for about 24 to 48 hours, sometimes longer on deeper settings. Swelling peaks the morning after, which is always a surprise to people who felt fine when they left.
Plan it for a Thursday if you have a normal work week. Do not plan it in the week before a wedding. And do not book it two weeks before a beach vacation, because sun on freshly treated skin is how you end up with pigmentation you did not have before.
Morpheus8 or something cheaper?
If your main issue is dullness, mild texture and general "my skin looks tired," you do not need to start at $375. A course of chemical peels at $100 each, or microneedling with exosomes at $250, will do more for your money.

- Is this price per session or for a package? For which area?
- How many sessions do you expect my case to need?
- What depth are you planning, and why that depth for my skin?
- Who performs it, and how many have they done?
- What is included afterwards: follow up visit, aftercare products, touch up?
